Very good news for XBox, but there is a very good chance that most of these (if not all) will be ported to GC and PS2.
Atleast XBox doesn\'t get Virtua Fighter 4 ;).

It\'s great news. Also, It\'s rumored that VFX is one of the 11, so don\'t get too c0cky yet.

Well if there is a VFX, then PS2 is messed up....
Also, XBox is getting an exclusive from Tecmo.... Dead or Alive 3.

Well, in the likely hood that XBox would... um... "take out" PS2, then at least GC would survive since it has a strangle hold on the younger demographic.
Of course, I doubt PS2 would ever get "taken out" by XBox, but you can never say never in the world of consoles.

I think those 3 systems will do fine. Of course, I have NUON, 3D0, Saturn, 32x and other \'failed\' consoles, so maybe I\'m wrong...

Everyone is having too much fun playing the MGS2 demo and ZOE. :D They don\'t have time to get into pointless debates.

my view on this, whatever system has the best Sega games, or even the most, I will probably support that system the most.
And X-Box has PANZER effing Dragoon!

Well, the thread title is a bit misleading. It\'s 4 launch games and 11 games total in development. But Xbox sounds better for everyday and only the most biased of people would have troubles admitting Xbox have great potential (I\'m hesitating about saying it\'s great as I haven\'t played it yet, I don\'t know the price etc - but it certainly looks mighty fine so far).

The article contradicts you. It said:
"At the Tokyo Game Show today, Bill Gates announced that Sega has 11 Xbox titles in the works for the launch of the console! "
It really doesn\'t matter though, because I\'m betting that at least 7-8 of those games will be on PS2 and GC, but you never know.

That\'s funny, because I read in another article that it was 4 launch games and 11 total (it was on http://www.computerandvideogames.com I think). But think about it... Doesn\'t that sound more possible? I mean, how many games can Xbox launch with... and 11 of those should be from SEGA? Nah, I wouldn\'t bet my life on it.

Your both wrong. The mixed reports are wrong. No dates have been given for ANY of the Sega games.

With Sega backing the Xbox so much (Panzer Dragoon and Jet Set Radio!!!!!!!!!!!!!), I\'ll have to reconsider getting one.
I really, really, really want to play the next Panzer Dragoon. That\'s it, if Skies of Arcadia 2, Sonic, NiGHTS, Shenmue, Ecco, or Daytona are announced for Xbox, I\'ll have no choice but to get one;)

Skies of Arcadia 2 is coming to DC, I think.
Samwise, I\'ll trust your advice, because 11 launch titles does seem a bit too optimistic. Anyway, I still think most of them will be ported.
