Virtua Fighter VS Tekken is finally coming true?  This morning Sega and Namco have jointly put a full size ad in the Nikkei Japanese newspaper, featuring Akira from Virtua Fighter and Jin from Tekken. It seems like the two companies are planning to have some major announcement about their flagship 3D fighting games, could this be a cross over fighting game that has been long rumored?

This will be very interesting. 2 different engines, 2 styles of fighting.

This would make truckloads at the arcades, and which ever system its released for..

i don\'t see the images either now..hmmm,well just go over to (using http://www. in front of it of course :D ) the-magicbox.com/ everyone to witness the ad...maybe the mods blocked it out because we\'re not supposed to post full url\'s (i.e..links) here as a matter of respect and probable copyright laws??

I  hope this is not some sick april fools day joke.
Right now my most fervent wish is that XenoSaga is not an April Fools joke, cause  would be really upset.

It wont happen. Sega sez its just a reaffirming their commitment w/Namco to commit to revitalizing arcades in japan.

Yeah, I agree, this won\'t happen because it\'s completely two different engines running the game!  The gameplay from one of the games will have to make a dramatic change to make it work!

WOW!! that\'s a good idea!  Would it be Tekken vs. Virtua Fighter.....I made this one. It\'s not that good.. :D

I also think that a tekken vs. virtua fighter would\'nt work.
