$1000 for me...any takers.
This guy is a classic example of a PS2 FANBOY. But he\'s also a classic example of someone who will jump ship once the hype settles in. That\'s why I\'m betting so much that NPlayer will be on the Xbox bandwagon this fall.
As a WARNING...DO NOT LET YOURSELF BECOME LIKE NPLAYER!!!! PLAY WHAT YOU LIKE...ALLEGIANCE SUCKS!!! BE AGNOSTIC!!!
Now, what do you guys think about the PS2\'s showing so far.

I am going to go ahead and agree with you. Now that many big name titles are coming to X-box, and yes from JAPANESE developers including Sega, Konami, Capcom, etc.
After he plays the NEW PANZER DRAGOON he will not be able to resist!!
Why oh why, Sega, couldnt you have made this game early in DC\'s life, I need it now!

Please, a lot of people look in off topic. And even if only 2 people went there off topic threads should still be posted there. The same goes for Xbox only related topics - they go in console debating, not main forum. There are similiar haters over at PS2.IGN who have to start a new anti XBox thread everyday and go on about it daily.
I find it humerous. The hating of another game machine and feeling you have to voice that opinion on forums is messed up. (cough*** DirectDocwiz***cough)

Nah man. DirectXBox seems cool to me. Though I only know from what I\'ve seen lately.
As for NPLAYER2, he is the same. M4, one of the MSXBOX mods, says they\'ve banned him numerous times, and he just changes his IP somehow. They can\'t get rid of him.

N-player2, classic \'troll\'-case. One of the worst, I now understand. He is beyond evil - he\'s pathetic. That\'s why I don\'t even take him as a \'dark\' person.
It just indicates that this guy has no life, just screwin around forums all over .net, wasting his time - I see NO point in that.
I see some sort of point in deep discussing with you - as you teach me to write english more fluently every day.
I spend most of my time at off-topic; people should learn to use it, as the more it is used, the more it will be visited. But members DO visit this place - this is the first forum I step into when I enter Psx2central. Then it\'s time for Rants and Raves, then Main Forum, and if have time, I check suggestions and console debating.

Capcom has little to no intrested in supporting the xbox..they have slammed it numerous times and think PS2 will be the winner of this generation and xbox the pathetic loser...
Konami supports ANYTHING, but since the xbox has little to no japanese support i see you need to bring them up.

I played it on saturn and thought it was crap..no fun at all...it sold to a niche market in japan...xbox will be no different.
Why oh why, Sega, couldnt you have made this game early in DC\'s life, I need it now!
Sega and their braindead marketing and executives were to stupid to realize no one cared about them or their hardware(no, i am not saying I don\'t like them but most everyone eles does not)....With the DC dead...you can see why that mediocre game will not appear on it.

yeah mi am ashamed to admit it but i think N player is right on that one too, WHY BUY A CONSOLE at £300 + plus when i can just as easyly upgrade my PC (which i aM DOING anyway !).

1-It\'s more expensive to upgrade your PC?
2-It will still be underpowered (compared to XB for gaming purposes)?
3-Most PC games wont take advantage of it?
4-XB is a console and will have a lot of console games. (PS2 has as many actual PC ports as XB will)?

I don\'t understand your point. You complain that the Xbox is just a computer. Well, first off, every console is a computer. But they are dedicated to console gaming. That is the difference. As for the argument that the Xbox is built like a computer. What the hell? The PS2 is going to have add-on galore to make it like the Xbox or a computer as you keep *****ing about. Zip-Drive? Check. Broadband Adapter? Check. Hardrive? Check. The only difference is MS isn\'t making people buy the add-ons, because they don\'t want to take the risk of the add-ons not selling. Oh yeah and there is a chip powered by Intel in the Xbox. Big whoopie doo!

You need to get a life seriously. There is something wrong when you are a PS2 fanboy and PS2 boards don\'t even want you around. Go play games or something. After all, you are a "gamer" right? Then go play so friggin\' games and quit *****ing about a console that isn\'t even out yet. Then again, I truly doubt you are a "true gamer". As no true gamer would be so friggin\' upset about a new console coming into the market.
You change your brand loyality like you would change your underwear (though, I truly doubt you change your underwear near as offen as you do your brand loyality). If you don\'t like a console that is fine. But, why do you think you need to go to a forum and ruin the fun for everyone else? And it isn\'t even like you state your opinons (which you are entitled to) in a reasonable manner. You just make a few threads trashing something about the Xbox, then when someone disagrees with you, you go cussing them and trashing them like a 5 year old throwing a tantrum.
People threw a fit about RevX, but he was nowhere near as bad as you. He was at least sometimes amusing and sometimes, very rarely made some sense. Not to mention alot of his threads did become popular if nothing else just for amusement. Your threads almost always end up being closed.

As for NPLAYER2, he is the same. M4, one of the MSXBOX mods, says they\'ve banned him
numerous times, and he just changes his IP somehow. They can\'t get rid of him.
Thats the bad thing. Its so friggin\' easy to change your IP , so banning him does no good. I mean, sure you can ban his name for he can come back again as N-player3 or some ****. We pretty much have no choice but to put up with him and his pointless threads.

1- not over here, infact it isvery cheap to upgrade your PC, i can get 256meg for £50.
2- i can upgrade my pc to be far more powerful than the X box with just a few minnor upgrades
3- Most PC games will tkae advantage of it, infact we will see a greater use of the internet to set up online Gaming and support comuniteys, just look at TFC and Counter strike, plus most of the X Box games will appear on the PC at Some stage.
4-XB is a PC CONSOLE !, yup it\'s all very well to build a system with PC components and try and fool the public that you have to buy it. XB will have the Ge fore 3 ?
Whats stopping me in buying a Ge Force 3 and placing it within my PC ?

Consoles have two faults:
1) They can\'t be upgraded (yes, there are people who like upgrades :))
2) Online gaming... The only \'real\' alternative (at least for me) is a PC - nothing wrong with that, that\'s just the way it is. I won\'t be able to play online with PS2 or Xbox for a long, LONG time - so I\'ll choose PC\'s for online gaming (Counter Strike here I come ;))

No, unfortunatly I haven\'t tried that one yet. I mostly play Counter Strike (my PC isn\'t very good... and I\'m not sure when I can buy a new one or at least upgrade it :))

Hey way i see it is that.
PC are good for people who like to "fiddle" with there games, and try and tweek a little more power out of their systems to rin quake 3 faster for example, it is also possible to makea old game look even better after an upgrade.
Consoles are good for instant play, and the fatc you never need to upgrade it. A console on launch day will stlll play the same games that are released atthe end of a consoles life.

Théy both have advantages and disadvantages. I like PC gaming because you\'re not limited. You can fiddle around, buy better products if needed, better picture on a good monitor, keyboard and mice - or joystick if you want, online gaming etc.

2-It wont be more powerful for gaming purposes.
3-Most PC games do not take advantage of a PC with the equivilent of XB graphics. Online communities arent relevent to the graphics/prossesing power.
4-No, its a console, period. Xbox will have something based on GF3, but I believe it will be something slightly different, and fyi, most consoles use PC parts.... ever heard of Atari vcs, Genesis, SNES, PSone and even *gasp* PS2? They all have PC components in them. It\'s odd how XB has custom usb, no other pc type expansion ports, and PS2 does, but XB is a PC console.... Sorry, it just defies logic...
GF3 will cost MORE than XB. And you need a system to use it effectivly. XB= ~$300 GF3= ~$400 (according to http://www.planethardware.com/features/articles/nv20/index3.shtml )
And on the PC gaming vs Console gaming in general... what kinda nerd are you that you wanna sit around tweaking ****? Gaming is about playing games, not tweaking things... well, I dont really care, do what you want, but don\'t critisize a console like XB by characterizing it unfairly as a mini pc... cause its NOT.

It\'s Team Fortress 2. Not Team Fortress Classic 2. :)
Team Fortress Classic is a remake of the original Team Fortress (on Quake 1) .. hence the classic name tossed in there.

I bought a PS2 due to the inovation and exclusive titlesthat will only appear on the PS2.
IF Gran Turismo 3 and othere PS2 exclusives where released onthe PC, then i would never buy my playstation 2, i would just upgrade my PC.
I love my PC, the only reason why i stray from it is to get them Exclusive titles that i like so much.

A lot of XB games wont be on PC either. Oddworld has said repetedly the Munch will never be a PC game. Argonaut\'s Malice will NEVER be a PC game. Halo will be a PC game, but they have already stated the 2 versions will be VERY different. The Sega games that end up not going to PS2 will probably not ever be PC games. DoA3 will NEVER be a PC game. I\'m not seeing your logic. The bulk of XB titles are going to stay on XB, or maybe another console, but never be on the PC.

Console games and pc games are not the same thing. The gameplay is much different they don\'t look the same. I prefer the look of console games but I like the multi-player in pc games. It\'s funny how u called xbox a striped down pc when all console are menature pc\'s. Lets take a look at the inside of the ps2 what u think is in there bricks and wooods? xbox took both worlds of the pc and console and combined them. It will make for a excellent gaming experience. You have yet to play a game on xbox so how can you judge it? That is almost kind of fanboyish. Too say you prefer something else and you have not even played one xbox game.
If gt3 was released of pc it would not have the same feel to it. I honestly don\'t see your point because console games and pc games don\'t feel the same.

PS2 has Custom built Components E engine for start.
X Box has a PIII and a Ge force 3 and a ....
now is\'nt the P III avalible for the PC and the Ge force will soon be avalible for the PC as well ?
FFS even Bill Gates has admited the " the X box is also for PC owners that what a "system" to play games on".
FFS it\'s even going to use Direct 8 to run it\'s Games !

Yes, some games on XB, as any system, will be ported. So what? And PS2 has some custom chips, and some regular pc chips... just like XB has a custom nVidia (sp?) chip similar to Geforce 3. And Dreamcast was easy to develop and port to also, and no one called that a stripped down PC. Face it Mr. Bond, your just wrong.

And to clarify some of what I was saying before, Nvidia them selves stated \'NV2A (Xbox\'s chip) is at least 1 full generation ahead of NV20 (Geforce 3)\' (it\'s not an exact quote. For the full article, read the news story in Next Gen 05/01) and Next Gen stated that the first wave of Geforce 3 cards will be up to $500. IMO XB @ ~$300 will be a much better deal. And again, at least 70% of XB\'s games will never be released on the PC.
As a side note, I want to make clear that I fully support people who decide not to get a XB, just don\'t diss XB for silly (ie: its too big, I hate Bill Gates)/false (ie: its not that powerful, all the games are ports, etc) reasons.

In regards to the topic: NPLAYER is a nimrod. His intelligence will be lesser than that of a dead goat no matter which console he supports, and I\'ll dispise him equally no matter which he throws his moronic backing behind.
