Title: Why I didn\'t bu Z.O.E. because of the MGS demo

When FF8 was coming out Brave Fencer Mushashi had a demo of FF8, so I bought it. 2 weeks later I pick up a Playstation Magazine with the FF8 demo on it. I thought to myself "damn you\'re dumb." So I think pretty soon a MGS demo will come in a Magazine, but the only problem is I can\'t find a magazine with a PS2 demo disc.....

OPS2 will get the MGS 2 demo later this year, but it will be a while yet. They did say it will be a different demo to the one which was shipped with ZOE which is good news as it means more preview media.

I don\'t think you will see the demo of MGS2 in any other form than in the ZOE box set for some time yet.

You could try and get the MGS2 demo second hand off a ZOE owner.

Either way I think your wise for not purchasing a game just for the free demo which comes with it.

Don\'t get me wrong, im not saying ZOE / MGS2 Demo is a bad deal im just saying purchasing a game soley for the demo with no regards to the original game seems like a bad idea in my opinion.

With some of the games coming out soon for the PS2 theres no real need for the MGS 2 demo and then least you can expirence MGS 2 fresh when it is released.

Well Rich, thats great for Brits... but theres no PS2 demo/mag in the US. :(

yeah, ebay that seems like a good idea, and VIVI, i dont blame you, i would never buy a game for a demo disk, that is a waste of money, if the game is bad or for whatever, you have got to be interested in the game you are buying, why did you think about buying it for the demo? you..:smokin:?

you dont like e-bay EThugg? its pretty reliable.my aunt bought a ps2 off e-bay, when they were 400-500$..
im just saying it would probably be better than buying the game. yes i know its "free":D but hey if you want it so bad, pawn it off a friend or buy it on e-bay, thats the best way to handle VIVi\'s prob..

Shoot, I don\'t need to pay for it. I d/l it for free... but perhaps I\'ve said too much... ;)

You could also try http://www.qxl.com to see if they had the demo of MGS2 and others.
