The general consensus around the show was that the biggest surprise of this year\'s Tokyo Game Show 2001 Spring was one of the following things: The Sega and Microsoft announcement, Dead or Alive 3 on Xbox, the fact that Final Fantasy X looked so damn gorgeous, Microsoft\'s new Xbox controller, Dave Z. not taking a single picture of a booth babe or the announcement of Xenosaga. While all of these stories are definitely big and were surprises to all who attended the show, none came close to what we discovered in the playable demo of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty.
Given that we had already put in countless hours into playing the demo, we were sure that we had seen and done everything possible in it. However, that has proven to be far from the truth. At the Tokyo Game Show 2001 Spring, we discovered Solid Snake, the game\'s hero, masturbating. Yes, the male protagonist of Metal Gear Solid 2 gets caught doing exactly what every other red-blooded male does at least once a day -- choking his chicken, spanking his monkey, cleaning his pipe, jacking his beanstalk, or taking his dog for a walk.

You don\'t believe us? Well, we the proof is in these completely untouched screen captures from an American version of the game.

Step 1:
Just do exactly what you\'d do in real life -- find some picture of a hot woman for inspiration.

Step 2:
Then just get into position in front of the spank material.

Step 3:
Go into first person mode and look her in the eyes, because she deserves at least that much.

Step 4:
Call up Otacon and check out Solid Snake\'s "O" face. Hopefully you won\'t have the see the Liquid spew forth from Snake.

This will work at either poster and is easily the biggest surprise that we\'ve discovered while here in Tokyo, Japan. We love Hideo Kojima and KCEJ more and more every day.

I\'d go try it if I had my DEMO (Gave it away). But, I truly doubt it is there. Probably an April Fools Joke. Or maybe I\'m just paranoid about April Fools? ;)

i went to try it when i heard about it over at ign. its awesome to see good ol snake spanking his monkey in mgs2. :D

Thats the funniest little detail ever included in a game.
Im sure that will be removed in the FINAL american version.
American mothers and preachers are too uptight for that kinda humor.

I hope we can do that in the european demo of Mgs 2 also ;)

Some of the sickest details I\'ve ever seen in a game - this even beats Tifa\'s winning-move. :)

So, either it is an april\'s fool -joke accompanied by some fans, or then it ain\'t, but I can believe you without a fear of falling into an apri\'s fool -joke, as it isn\'t april\'s fool -day in here anymore ;)
