Gamecube for me.
Why?
Mario. That\'s why.
-
Hmmm..
I would choose GameCube.
Why?
The games, it has many great games coming for it.
But Im not gonna buy a GC or a Xbox.
Instead Im saving my money for PS2 (games, enthernet addon ect.) and where gonna get a new computer :) (Now i really dont need a xbox)

GameCube!
Why?
Mario and all the first and second party games....
...I \'ll wait for the X-Box...maybe until 2003 for great games...I\'m not interested on Silent Hill X or DOA3 for example...
-
XBOX
Nintendo\'s games are not that appealing, anymore.
Except for Resident Evil Zero but thats not a Nintendo game.
-
XBOX, i\'m tired of playing little kddy games, they used to appeal to me though, when I was alot younger.
-
I\'d buy them both, at the exact same time. If I could only choose one though, it\'d be the Gamecube.
-
I\'ll take GameCube over Xbox any day. GameCube will have extraordinary exclusive hits that just can\'t be ignored. Want some games to get you excited? Here ya go.
Mario or Luigi game
Eternal Darkness
Too Human( yeah you Sony whores remember this one..)
Perfect Dark 2
Metroid
Dinosaur Planet
Retro\'s real time RPG
1080 2
Thornado
Rogue Squadron 2
Resident Evil: Zero
Camelot RPG
Zelda
Sonic 3( you know its coming ;))
I don\'t think we\'ll see any of those games above on other systems(in fact.,I\'m sure of it since pratically all of them are from 1st and 2nd party developers). Sure Sony and Microsoft will copy Nintendo\'s ideas eventually with craptacular attempts at making a "killer" but you\'ll only see them shine on GameCube.
-
I have absolutely no idea, as I haven\'t played any of them yet, making a choice would be stupid!
-
Thats a Hard one , you mean i havee to pick just one ?
ermmmmm it would be nice to have a NGC for Zelda and Perfect dark 2
but the X box has some titles that have cought my eye like HALO and DOA 3.
Hmmmmmmmmm
Ah bugger it ill go for the NGC, no one dose exclusives more exclusive than Nintendo.
Yup Nintendo over Microsoft but only for the ZELDA series.
-
I am planing on buying both. If I could only buy one then I would have to wait and see, right now there is simply not enough information available.
-
I say GC because for the (rumored) price of an Xbox I could get a GC and a couple of games.

Me too man.
I\'d buy the GC simply for a new Mario installment. But, if at all possible, I\'d get both. But this question isn\'t really fair. We don\'t know the Xbox launch list, so we have no clue what to expect. But, we know we can expect a Mario title from Nintendo on the GC launch.
It just isn\'t fair, damnit.
;)

With all circumstances being even, I\'d say Gamecube now and X-Box later.
-
i would get a GC at first, then and x box when the price drops :)
-
Seeing as how Nintendo hasn\'t really shown anything on the Gamecube, I am not going to say which one I would get first. I am not planning on getting either though. After E3, I will know which one I want more.
-
GameCube.
GameCube is cheaper, and it will have lots of games that I anticipate, and it will bring nostalgia into modern games. The new Mario Installment, of course, is interesting to see - as Miyamoto has always invented something you go drooling about :)
I would buy X-box later \'tho, but if hitting the hard reality here - I wouldn\'t have enough money even for GameCube!
-
Do I even have to tell you?
-
I would buy both simultaniously. What are you all, poor? :D :p
-
i would like to buy both, only problem is i wouldn\'t have time to play them all.
-
I like the GC\'s overall selection of games....but I REALLY want to play Halo. Difficult choice, but probably X-Box.
-
Gamecube all the way. I feel about as much enthusiasm with this, as I did before PS2 came out... Can\'t wait... I\'ll probably pick up the mario game. No matter what, you can\'t go wrong with mario!
-
Id buy both. No way I could only have one.
Mario on Cube.
Halo on X-Box.
