Baseball season has officially started. Which means less time for gaming.

Hell yea Mets all the way I cant wait till all the yankee players get old so they will have no one and the Mets will rule! And i also hope they make a salary cap for baseball so the yankess cant just buy people so other teams can\'t have them ...cough Jose Canseco cough..

I went to a mets game and i was with my freinds and was gonna paint my face orange and blue...... they had no orange paint so i got red and yellow , well they were playing the expos and what do you know..... when the psint dried it looked like red and blue ( expos collors ) and evry 5 sec someone would ask me if i knew the mets were orange and blue......
i also want to say that i collect baseball cards and i have a jose cansaco jersey card ( pecie of jeresy in card ) and the next day he gets traded to the yankess where i know he wont play and i know my card will now be worth crap!

I\'m assuming your talking about baseball.
That is one sport I don\'t understand (actually I hate just about all sports,excercise scares me:sconf: ) anyhoo where I come from the land of fire and ice we don\'t have baseball but I see the sport in all the movies and I can\'t figure the game out there\'s a guy who throws a ball and a guy with a bat who hits the ball,than everybody starts running.Are the thrower and the bat guy on the same team?Where are everyone running to?and what\'s up with the guy behind the guy with the bat?what\'s he doing?????

The team just hasn\'t been the same since they got rid of Pedro Cerrano and Ricky Vaughn. Maybe if they can pick up Willy Mays Hays from the minors and Jake Taylor from the Mexican league, things will work out just fine. Just make sure they don\'t pick up that tightwad Roger Dorn.

I really think the problem is the ownership. Ever since the "ex-Showgirl" took over the team, it\'s really gone downhill. Is there a consipiracy to make the team so bad they can move to miami? Some say this is the case.

I seriously hate the Braves. They are like one of the most over-rated teams ever. I used to live in ATL(I\'m going back next Jan.) and they would talk about them like they were the greatest of all time.
When they played the NY Yankees in the Series, I almost went crazy because I wanted them both to lose.

But seeing as how that\'s impossible, I had to cheer for the Yankees simply because they\'re NY and the Braves eliminated my team from the WS. The only time I would cheer for those @#(*$&(*@#&$(@&$(&@!(.

ill explain ....... see evry game had 2 teams
there are 9 "innings" evry inning has 2 , well i guess im going to call them "rounds" where 1 team is playing the feild and the other is the team hitting the ball, then they switch.
Feild players- try to catch ball. if the ball drops they have to get it and throw it to the base befor the runner on the hitting team gets there.
person behind plate- well 1 is the cather who cacths the balls the batting team doesnt hit. the catcher is on the feilding team. the other person behind the plate is an umpire , there are 4 total umpires in each game. umpires are like the refs .
srtkes/balls- strikes are thrown above the guys knees and around his waist usally , if the batter misses 3 strikes hes out. if he doesnt swing at 4 balls , balls are thrown out of the strike zone , he gets walked , walked is when he goes to first base without getting out.
Getting out- when you get out you go sit on the bench and wait your turn to bat there are 8 other players that hit also on your team with a group of players to switch in.
ways to get out- hit ball and run but they through the ball befor you get there. they catch a ball befor it hits. you strike out . ( ill mention others later)
Feilding team-3 outfeilders center , left , right that stand in the far back of the baseball feild. The pitcher throws the ball , the catcher is behind the plate to catch it if the hitter misses. 1st base is the first place a batter runs to after he hits a ball , the feilder that gets the ball throws it to 1st to get him out. 2nd base is the same except second place he runs too , then 3rd and hoime plate is where he first started and if he gets back there the batting team gets a point.
theres alot more but thats the basic game.

Damn this is a complex game,I thought this was like the English Cricket thingie where most people don\'t really get the game but don\'t tell anyone so they won\'t sound stupid so they just keep quiet and pretend to enjoy the game.
I mean why not do the usual thing have two goals and the batter guy tries to hit the ball into the others teams goal.
