There are Non-playable demos for ps2 on the OPSM disks this months (may) had Red Faction, The bouncer, NBA Shootout 2001, and NHL Faceoff 2001 as non playable demos.

heh i know last month they had LC: SR non playable, thats all they give you.. it pisses me off, give america thier playable demos damn it!!!!

my point is somebody was B*tching about it last month! and I wanted to prove them Wrong!, Unknown, they would probably have to do 2 disks then, maybe a PS2 version of the mag with the PS2 playable and one for the PSOne games. I think they are doing that to get more people to buy the PS2, showing them demos of games they cant play to make them want the system...cant blame them tho.

they probably are, but damn when is OPS2 coming out?? i want the GT3 playable demo

couldnt they just make a demo disk with both Psone and PS2 games on it, so the people with with PSones could at least play some games? I\'ve had a subscription to that magazine for almost 2 years now, and I dont want to do any wierd crap to get a different one..........

The GT3 demo is ass. It barely looks better than GT2.

I bought some of opm too and they cost $8 each and I got the April Issue, and on the issue it said some pretty good old psxone demo, so i am planning on to subscribe it for one year. But I have a question! If I subscribe today, (which is April 8) whould they give me May issue or april issue because I don\'t want to subscribe and get another april issue which i already bought. 2nd, how long is the ship and handling took? Thank you for anybody that can help me out here.

You\'ll get next months issue, or the one after it if you subscribe right now. The first issue takes 4-6 weeks. Once the subscriptions going regularly, you should get your issues before most stores. I\'d recommend getting the 2 year subscription, saves money plus a year goes by pretty fast.

yes, I think they have a code on the subsription cards so they know what magazine you got it out of. I think its the best Playstation magazine out there and would recommend it to everybody. Yes, $8 is alot for a magazine, you can get a year subscription for like $40 I think, REAL CHEAP!!!

Sometimes you people overdo it with the acronyms. What the heck is OPSM? I don\'t buy these magazines, so I\'m not familiar with the titles. Claypool 2001, is that the one you were talking about when you wrote "I think it\'s the best playstation magazine out there" ?

He means OPSM... Official Playstation Magazine. As opposed to PSM:100%...blah blah blah. These are both US mags in case your outside the US and don\'t know.

OPSM= Official PlayStation Magazine the only Playstaion magazine (besides the playstation Underground straight from Sony) that has a CD-rom disk with demos.

It\'s a shame that the quality is piss poor. Although OPSM occasionally adds a disclaimer, albeit in a very unassuming section in small text, stating that the video quality has degraded due to compression; it seems that this may not be the most flattering approach in terms of generating interest in new PS2 games. Most of us realize this, but how many overlook it as well. Why it bothers me so......?!? :nut: Don\'t answer that. :nut:
