Title: How\'s Dynasty Warriors 2?
Post by: Zolar on April 07, 2001, 10:44:04 AM
I just got a PS2 recently with TTT, Timesplitters, and QIII:Revolution.  I was wondering if Dynasty Warriors is any good.

I personally can\'t stop playing the demo - and you can\'t even finish one level!

I plan to buy it as soon as possible, everyone here says it\'s good, and all the reviews are great.  Music is great.  Game is great.  Graphics are great.  If you get bored by games where you tend to mash the buttons for a long time, though, it might not be for you.

I had this game,  but the fights gets old fast.  Fight after fights! Killing over 1,000 men gets boring.  The back grounds look dull and the music not too good.  I traded in this game for another title.  :D

Personally, I love this game. My friend and I still play it constantly and love it every time. You definitely have to be in the mood for it but if you are, it totally rocks. If I remember correctly there are nine different battles.

You don\'t have to kill 1000 men if you planned your route and play it strategically. If you close the reinforcement gates very fast, you only need 50 people.

But 1000 people in hard mode is the norm.Anyway Beat Them Up games tend to be repetitive ..if you can play the Bouncer, you will like Dynasty Warriors 2.

I love it to death, but the graphics and gameplay get dull after a while, I mean a Loooooooooooooooong while though.

Brilliant piece of gaming!

I bought a used copy of Dynasty Warriors 2 today!  I love it.  I also picked up a used copy of Swing Away Golf.  They had more cool used games but I couldn\'t go on a spending spree because my girlfriend was with me.  Damn!!

yea but each of those 8 levels take about an hour or more to finsih them the first time

some of them will even have to be done again so you canbuild up your character - the game is so simple but cool

i am glad you took our advice - have fun and enjoy

DW2 rocks. It\'s my first PS2 game.

It\'s great fun, lots of characters, plenty of bad guys to hack & slash, not too hard/easy, but most of all fun. I don\'t think the levels are too long... Cause there\'s just so much to do. Hate the music though, and why did they have to dub it in english. Still, this is a game I would recommend to anyone.
