If i make a back up of my iss ps1 disk will my ps2 read it?The reason i am copying the disk is because my little brother keeps scrating the disk,to the point where they dont work, please i need an answer quick!

no, PS2 won\'t play backup disks, won\'t play modchip PS1 games either.
heh heh, make a backup and leave it around for your brother to scratch up....

If someday somebody do a Boot CD for ps2 like the DC one, that disk runs on the ps2. But remember that this is piracy.

Another satisfied customer. I\'m going to close this before it does turn into a piracy thread.

My friend saw his friend play burned PS2 games once, but his friend was being an asshole and wouldn\'t tell him how.
I heard you can use the PS2 Gameshark as a boot disk and play burned games.
Could someone maybe check or verify this? Thx.

I\'ve heard, and this is just a rumor, that you can get a modchip for the PS2 that allows you to play PS backups, but not PS2 backups. Can\'t remember where i saw it, but it was a while ago.
Ethan, just give your brother a slapping and hide the cd from him, simple!
