Does anyone know if it is coming to the U.S. ? If not, will the japanese version work on the U.S. PS2?

It should work. All the other peripherals have worked so far, so it shouldn\'t be a problem. The last thing I heard about it, and it was a while ago, said they hadn\'t announced any plans to bring it here. I imagine they would though, most of the remotes suck so far.

It works on a US system but the features are limited. The remote is designed to work with Japanese SCPH-18000 and newer models with DVD Driver 2.0, the latest US DVD Driver is 1.30U. You\'ll be able to use the standard buttons on the remote such as R1/R2/R3/L1.. X, circle, square, triangle, basically all the buttons you find on the Dual Shock 2. What you won\'t be able to use are the nifty slow motion buttons and various menu shortcuts such as "audio setup", "chapter select", "angle select".
