E.T. Return to the Green Plannet based on a story that was the inpiration for what was to be the sequal to on E.T.  The Extra-Terrestrial.  This adventure follows E.T. as he returns to his home planet and soon realizes that things are not that same as they used to be, before he traveled to earth and met his new friend Elliot.  I think they should have made the movie first.  This might be a cute game. :D E.T. expected release for PS2 is March 2002.  PSone release date is October 2001.

but I admit I cried when ET died back in the day, of course I was like 13 or so

lol, ddaryl - I remember crying also ( i was younger - 7 or so ), but then I got very happy as I saw E.T. \'reviving\'.

It was a cute movie, and I loved it, and still love - and I think I can never grow \'adult\' enough to stop loving the movie.

I\'m damned if there\'s really a game coming.. is this a joke? :)

No, really, I mean... Hahhahah... eh, yeah, I remember E.T. for Atari. They made like millions of carts (more than there were machines sold!), none were sold (everyone returned their copies while flinging vile language at the developers), and finally 5.000.000 carts were buried in the middle of New Mexico desert (so the legend goes)... sad, really. The game began the videogame crash of the \'80\'s. After the horrible A2600 version of Pac-Man, this was the last straw and many gamers abandoned their 2600\'s in disgust.

Enough history... *resume laughing*

Yup No matter how many Army Men Games 3DO release they just cant kill the playstation\'s :laughing:.
