Title: What\'s the Best PS2 Wireless Controller
Post by: joshjustin on April 13, 2001, 05:47:41 AM
Does anyone know what the best product out on the market is right now?  Is there something better comin\'?  There are mixed reviews all over the net on some of the controllers currently out.  I\'m out to find a more general concensus on this matter.

IMO, the best thing to go with would be a radio frequency pad.  Does anyone know something about the Razer Raptor, Thrustmaster, or Air Play 2?  Or should I just stick with my corded DS pad?

well thats an easy question, non of them :)

they all have lag on response and aren\'t good, my recommendation 2 you is a cord extention. cheaper, and works fine

I\'m waiting on a Sony brand RF controller

all the ones out now have received mediocre reviews at best

Actually the 900Mhz Dual Shock from MadCatz is pretty nice.  It comes with the recharging base and actually works quite well.

Also tried the Pelican Freedom Shock 2...stay away...it is a real POS.  Which surprised me as Pelican typically makes pretty products.

If ya have any other questions on these two controllers feel free to ask me :)
