my damn computer isnt good enough to run it!!!!
i have all the system requirments exept one, since i have a generic video card it only pushes 5.5 MB, i needed one that pushed 12 MB grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr :Pissed off:
why do you need to have video cards now just to be able to play a god forsaken game, this sucks now i gotta try and return it, i doubt they\'ll take it cause its been "opened"
"note to self"
it is not the games fault, it is mine for not looking at the system requirments before i bought it :(
-
This is god\'s way of telling you that you need a new video card ;)
-
i cant run just about any 3d game... thats gods way of teling me i need a new comp with geforce 3! too bad my dad doesnt think so errrr
-
FackinKubuss,in that case pour some Cola over your comp, and tell your dad that it is your comp decomposing because of age ;)
-
Seriously, nO-One is right! Why not buy a new video card. Just get one on EBay and you\'ll save big bucks (or pounds, or yen, or whatever).
What chip is your existing card based on, and how old is it. I know you said it\'s generic and has 5.5 megs, but just how obsolete is it?
-
i had the same trouble the other day,i brought Deus Ex,it runs but not to well, which pisses me off, because what i have plyed so far, lookes really good.
At least you dont have to worrie about that with your PS2.

Juding on your Graphics card. I\'ll say u maybe have a old MB too.. So if your were to update to a new graphics card.. Geforce, Voodoo etc. You\'ll probaly need a new MB too.. ohh and a new Case with a ATX powersupply if your still on a AT...
-
Do you have any AGP slots in your pc (pentium II or better boards should have them) if not buy a really cheap voodoo 3, or if you can find it a voodoo 5 64 mb PCI. Thats the best PCI card there is. If you have a AGP slot go for a geforce 2 MX, they are extremely cheap and give value for you money !
-
no no no!!!!
I don\'t have AGP...yet;)
but i will be getting a Radeon 32MB SDRAM PCI card to tide me over until this xmas(alienware please mommy:laughing: ...this is THE best PCI card you can get...the performance lost is little to none...get this one.
-
Performance is always lost when comparing PCI to AGP.PCI just doesn\'t have the bandwith that a good AGP slot has.
-
thenks everyone for the replys, but i have had a revelation, after i returned it i bought Q 3 and realized why am i going to upgrade my DADS PC when i got my beautiful PS2 asking me to buy games and its modem for her, what was i thinking.
-
Well don\'t give up on PC games, they are very good aswell.Like Tribes.2 and Black&White currently unavailable for the PS.2.
And upgrading is just so much fun :D

unknown,
Just a quick note;
System Requirements for PC games are BS. Even the recommended is BS. Look @ it this way,.. \'Recommended\' is usually really required, and just figure out your own \'Recommended\' .. When developers post their sys requirements they mean the game will technically run, but horribly.. technically it\'s running though. I\'ve never seen a game that the system requirements were on the mark. And lemme tell you, the requirements/recommended for Tribes 2 is way off.

- what\'s in the f\'cking box?

Does anyone know for about how much could I get an AGP GeForce 2 Ultra(they\'re all AGP, right?)?
-
Go to pricewatch.com and look for one, I\'d do it but I wanna go play B&W. :)
I think a friend of mine (who wants one also) mentioned a price of ~$300.. I didn\'t check though.

If you are going to buy off the net from some mom and pop shop you might as well flush your money down the toilet...too many horror stories:mad:
-
Don\'t buy a GF.2 ULTRA till the GF.3 is out.The price should drop alot.
