Post by: KillaX on April 13, 2001, 07:56:20 PM: it took me 3 mins with my Cable modem....should have taken less but the Xfer rate was low (I ususlly get 200K and it was around 45K/sec)

I mean - incredible! I had to watch it many times before I had clue wich were cut-scenes and wich actual gameplay! I\'m... impressed, to say the least! G-great... what more can I say? :D

The movie does look amazing. Both the CG and real time... I wonder if the game is running @ 30fps or 60fps. (yes, it matters to me) :p

yah, i want to know the frame rate too. from what i see, it seems like it running at a smooth 60 fps. looks how fast the game play. and the fmv (CG) seems to be running at 30fps MPEG-2. that\'s 8x more info were running every second than MPEG-1 which nearly all of psx fmv games run at 15fps for fmv (CG) and at 320 x 240 while mpeg 2 runs at 720 x 480 at 30fps for ps2. I could be wrong but I am pretty confident i was right.

Beside, did any of you notice that the ffx commercial looks exactly like the ff trailer (the last 51 second part of the trailer) from the tokyo game show? except this is a direct feed.

Yep, that\'s what I do too. I usually download over 50 Megs a night of all sorts of stuff, including all the latest video game clips. Why? Because I can! That\'s why! :D I love DAP a lot more than Go!Zilla and Getright.

It was a mixture of both. There was definitely real-time footage in there.

I would download but even though i live in a town of 20000 there is still no cable modems in the area and im to far from the dsl place
