Square has announced today that Final Fantasy X will ship to store shelves in Japan on July 19, for a retail of 8,800 ¥.

Now I just need to get my ps2 modded to play imports and all will be good with the world. I think FF10 will hit the US probably in October, hopefully sooner :D

In that case i hope you can speak Japanesse , i think this one has next to FULL SPEACH, unless this like Onimusah has a option to change the dialouge from Japanesse to English.
oe even to have english sub titles.
But Great news just the same. maybe the bond mister will be playing FF10 before MGS2 is released :D.

haha its a good thing I took japanese for a couple years. Although im not fluent (far from it) Im sure I can make out the hiragana and katakana . Always good to have a japanese/ english dictionary around. :D

I think it\'s "Nihongo", not "Ni hon go." :) You just said "2 book 5" instead of "Japanese." :D Same with the "Na ni." You said some wierd stuff instead of "what?" like you meant to say. :) In romagi(sp?), you don\'t break up each character. I just thought I\'d let you know. :)
I\'ll be waiting for the US version. They might have some added things like they had in the US FF7.

i think thats sad buying a game a few months before usa release cos your gonna look at the dictionary every 5 seconds... unless you can speak full japanese wait a few months yesh..

I cant wait to see how this game does.
I think this game is going to dictate the publics opinion about the PS2.
I dont want it to, but I have a feeling it will.

Sooooo, FFXI, the online world will only be on PS2 and PC? Nice news for PS2 owners. I was hoping it wouldn\'t be released on PC though, it\'s just so much easier to cheat with PCs in MMORPGs, but oh well. I\'m sure it\'ll have some good security and such. I can\'t wait for that special 2 DVD edition. I put 20 bucks down on it already, so I\'m first on the list! woot!

Rummor is the US release date is somewhere around November. That sounds pretty decent to me.
Fall and Winter are going to be pretty big for PS2 fans, with MGS2 in October, also DMC, FinalFantasy X, and a whole other bunch that I won\'t even bother posting.
Things are looking good for the year :)
