Title: Whats the difference between regular and DVD\'s?
Post by: Claypool 2001 on April 17, 2001, 03:58:13 PM
I was wondering whats the difference between regular "blue bottom" format than DVD format? THe only thing i noticed was that the DVD games seem to be ALOT quieter. Dont DVD\'s hold more information? Also I think the DVD games look better when it comes to movies or CGI cut scenes. Tell me whats the difference!!! (if any)

The only REAL difference is that DVD has a much larger storage space, offering dual layer reading.

Discs are thicker too

DVD is more quiet cause it spins 4x. Normal CDs are 16x.
(the slower spin is equalised by higher data transfer rate).CGI can be better quality cause of the larger storage place.
