Title: Stupid ps2 mistake is there anyway to fix it.

I forgot my ps2 dvd password.  I know I am very stupid for this, but I can\'t remember what it is and now I can\'t watch dvd\'s. Damn this has to be the dumbest thing somebody has done

check your manual (geee who would figure it would be in there) I think there is a default code of 4447 (I htink that is the code) in there.

I know is it something with 7\'s and 4\'s...........leem get my book..it is 7444...you were right!  My bad! Page 19!

Thanxs guys I looked in the book but I did not see the default code.   I guess I DID NOT look hard enough and know I was not watching porn. HAHAHAHA:D

Yeah "7444." That\'s okay man. I\'ve done that once, too. I finally took the stupid parental control off...you get more options with the DVD player with the parental control off anyways. I would only use this if I didn\'t want my parents to watch dirty movies...:rolleyes:

i\'ve been wondering this for a while... is there anyway to change wide-screen movies to full screen? I know my computer can do it, but my stand-alone DVD can\'t, or so i think. Any help... PLEASE ;)

Hey man,  be fair, it doesn\'t just pop up during porn.  It pops up for all of my movies,  uhh wait never mind...

seriously though, I\'m sure you could go on your PS2 card and erase the drivers, though I guess thats uneccesary now.

Sons, most DVD\'s are only in wide-screen (letter box) format.

Only a few have both formats available.

why wouldnt you want Wide-Screen? is so much better than that other crap. You get to see more and its just easier to watch IMO

So parents put in a password and then the kids just punch in 7444 and see whatever they want anyway.  What great protection.
