Looks like everyone will be getting this game at the same time this year.
Awesome.

Maybe those pics weve been seeing are real, if they are releasing it this soon.
-
Now here\'s hoping its the cool game it looks to be.
-
i cant wait to play this game. :bounce: i havent been so excited to play a car game other then twisted metal and gran turismo.
-
I read about this game before launch and i waited and waited and then i didnt think it was coming, game looks so much fun kinda like driver for psone
-
It\'s not actually just a "car game". It\'s supposed to be 30% driving, 70% adventuring, or something. Looks great, the plot sounds nice, and if SoHo manage to put in half the stuff they\'ve promised in the past, this is one title to watch out for.
-
I think it\'s the other way around
It will be more driving than exploring by feet
-
i think your thinking of the new GTA with all the adventure i havent heard anything like that on this game
-
I think that this game looks like another AAA title, there seems to be alot of games coming out of now where at the moment.and i love it.
-
There is supposed to be lots of indoor action too, shoot-outs in warehouses, maybe running after people through narrow alleys and stuff. At heart, they say, it\'s an adventure game. That doesn\'t stop it from including tons of motor mayhem, yeehaaw :D
Doesn\'t adventuring include travelling by car? The cars are your main form of transportation, but not the stars of the game :p
-
Well I thought they said they were emphasizing the driving but as you said there will be a lot of shoot outs and stuff as well
Doesn\'t matter though really hehe I think it\'s gonna be a good one anyhow
-
Well, I got the percentages a bit wrong, Chun Wah Kong of team SoHo said in an EDGE interview : "The game is completely free-roaming and mission-based, but how you go about getting there - whether you decide to run or drive there - is completely up to the player. The game will be 60% driving and 40% thirdperson action."
Some interesting tidbits :
• No loading times between exterior and interior areas (so no loading times at all during play??).
• 12 missions, each different depending on the character you\'re using. Missions include shootouts, robberies, stealth and stupidly dangerous car chases through high-traffic streets.
• All pedestrians are dynamically modelled and animated to react to the environment (they stop to look through shop windows, answer their mobile phones).
• The realistic representation of people getting hit and mauled by fast-moving cars is one of the reasons the game will be labeled with an 18 tag (ouch).
I read the whole EDGE article again and I\'m very very anxious to ge my hands on this game. There\'s just so much in there... if I had to choose one game that will turn out to be absolutely fabulous this year, it\'d probably be this.

Only 12 missions? I hope that it doesn\'t turn out to be really short, like most the ps2\'s best games have been.
