Title: First look: Robocop on PS2 !!!
Post by: BizioEE on April 20, 2001, 04:47:37 AM: Developer, Titus, has released 5 new images from their upcoming PS2 title, Robocop. Little details are currently known on the movie-to-game title, however Titus claims that the game will be officially revealed at E3 next month !

Post by: kopking on April 20, 2001, 09:09:33 AM: i had one on a amstrad 128k it was really good especially the mini games, after you done a level you had to shoot this baddie holding a girl like in the film, but in the game you had to do it the same way like control the x and y axis as hes sights if you know what i mean, there was also one where you had to make the mugshots by stopping them as parts of the faces quickly scolled past like in the film as well

I wouldnt get your hopes up too high ntil a playable demo is out.

yea the pics don\'t half bad especially since i am sure they won\'t have quite as much money to spend on developing as the GT3 crew had

Sorry, but I feel sorry for anyone who will buy this game because it will truly reek. Titus is truly a horrible developer with absolutely no talent. Superman 64 and Carmageddon 64 were by far the worst games on the N64. Check out IGN64\'s review on them. I believe they both managed a 1 or 2 out of a possible 10...

If you really hate a person then buy that person this game. Otherwise, stay far as far away from it as you can... This game will be terrible.

By OCEAN (that was the developer/publisher) right? I had it for the Atari ST, what a game.

As for this game, like ddaryl said, the bottom two shots look okay, but nothing spectacular.

Yeah! I had it on Amiga as well! It was quite spetacular back then. I played it quite a bit. Lots of atmosphere that\'s for sure. :)

Post by: Kituka on April 21, 2001, 02:13:46 PM: Hehe ...What Titus isn\'t telling you is that those "CG/pre-rendered" pics are actual gameplay from the GameCube version of the game. I will bet my life on this...wait until E3, you\'ll see. As for the actual PS2 gameplay pics, they stink...just like 95% of the PS2 pics I have seen to date.
