Title: X-box is going to be good

But I will probably get an X. The games look awesome and unless something goes horribly wrong at launch I will probably go get one.

Post by: ElAsesino on April 24, 2001, 01:35:37 PM: Doesn\'t impress me, so I\'m taking the wait and see approach. Halo might not even have an online element (not to mention I don\'t have BB. Thanks for alienating the narrowband people MS.) The SEGA titles did make me more interested in XBox, but now after the recent SEGA announcement, I\'m really not as enthusiastic.

Post by: M4 on April 24, 2001, 01:59:44 PM: I\'m taking the wait and see approach as well. I\'ll probably decide at E3 whether or not I\'ll get one at launch. If all else fails, I\'ll probably still get one a year or so after the console\'s release.

I dunno, I\'ll see how things go.

I\'ll probably wait for a price drop on Xbox. I\'ll have a tough time getting my moneys worth outta 2 consoles.

Thats true if both consoles suck. But lately I have been so bored with ps2 not enough multiple player games that are any good. And not enough good games lately. I have a lot of ppl over playing games and we always need more than one system or it just gets boring unless the game is so awesome you can\'t stop playing and I don\'t think that is going to happen anytime soon.

I might end up getting a gamecube though. I would like to play Zelda and the new Metroid (FPS!!!), only time will tell I guess..........never a XBox though

1.gamecube is coming out the same time, anly cheaper, and people recognise nintendo with gaming more than microsoft.
this is true, but mabye it wont happen, although i do know there are many microsoft haters out there

Anyway, the new BloodWake game looks absolutely terrific. Check it at IGN. I\'m too lazy to post a link. It\'s a cross between boats and Twisted Metal.

I\'m sure in the end that it will be able to stand on it\'s own merits and be a very good console for whoever owns it, just like every other console out there. I\'m not planning on buying one right now, but you never know what the future holds.

IMO, to hell with userbase/graphics/profit, as long as it has innovative and fun games on it, it\'ll be a success.

To XBOX: Since PS2 doesn\'t have that many good multiplayer games, then why don\'t you get an N64 or DC? Although the PSOne was the overall better choice, the N64 was the best as far as multiplayer gaming.
