Title: What Should I Buy?

Hey,

I think I\'m going to buy a new PS2 game this weekend, which will hold me till G23 and MGS2 comes out. The only PS2 games I have is Star Wars Starfighter, which is cool, but not fun after you beat it.

I think I\'m going to buy Quake 3 or Unreal Tournament... Both looks like cool FPS games. I have played Timesplitters, but want something more. I know a lot of you like Quake, and a lot like Unreal, but which should I buy? What do you like about Quake or Unreal? What do you not like about Quake or Unreal... Thanks!

Get Quake 3 its by far the best fps on ps2 so far

Timesplitters is the best, but sinse you dont want that, I guess Q3 is better than UT... but they both blow compared to the PC and DC versions, and Timesplitters.

Get quake.

The only thing that makes Q3 below the pc version is no online play but the 1 player mode is awesome and 2 player is great too. No slowdown or anything like that in 2 player

Maybe try and get a sport game, like NBA Live 2001 or Maddan 2001.  These are the best sport titles.  :D

I didnt think NBA live was all that good.

It was better on PSone. But I cant wait for next years version. When they have more time on it.

get unreal, i find it much better and much more rewarding

its no where near as good as timesplitters

and unreal is better than q3 on pc but q3 is better than unreal on ps2

Well I bought Unreal Tournament, and this game really rocks. The only bad point is about slowdowns that happen from time to time, but it\'s ok.

Unreal is great for solo play.
Q3 seems better for multiplayer.

But Unreal is a little more strategical....and the games modes are cool : deathmatch, domination,
capture the flag, assaut....

asualts hard at first cause you dont know where to go, but once you do it easier, one on ones easy though, just learn the patterns of your enemys.
