Post by: kopking on April 26, 2001, 01:04:05 PM
My mate works for part of the F.A, and was given 2 tickets to see Liverpool play the final. I dreamed about watching liverpool in a final for many a year, he told me i might be able to buy a ticket if he goes, but hes not sure if he is. I see him a week later and hes going but he aint gonna take me, no hes taking his fu**ing girlfriend to the final, he says she a supporter, but that just bull, why did he say i might be able to go, then invites his girlfriend, i mean what does she do for him what i dont :D lol

To bad, dont worry, you will be able to get your own back on him, when he really needs some help.
Believe me what goes around comes around.
You will just have to watch them on telly the same as me,i think they will win,i will cheer them on for you, even if i dont support them.
Also dont let him see that it bothers you, just say hope you have nice time, with your bird and start laughing: )

It\'s a sad state, but slowly all my guy friends (at about the 5 month stage) become p%$$y whipped.  It\'s a sad, but normal stage of life.

EXAMPLE:
Me and two others bought an X-friend a ticket to the radiohead concert in Toronto \'98, and his girlfriend threw a fit (since it outshone her birthday gift).  Suddenly what was just a weekend for us 4 boyz became us driving down in silence while she AND he pouted.  Then when we got to the concert, they didn\'t even end up watchin\' it, they just went and made out.

For the rest of us, it was like... uh.. dude?  70 bucks worth of gas/ticket/food and you don\'t even watch the concert??  Like I said... whipped.  He "left" the group shortly thereafter.
