In my technical writing class we basically have to start up a business in a group about whatever we want....I picked computer software development studio and for a marketing page of our business portfolio I need to find sales info about the gaming industry or basically anything that would help me market a game to a bank to know we are "all that" and can prove that the gaming world needs another software develpment team :D.....Hell even a sales record from last year would be nice..
I searched all over the ign\'s and videogames.com\'s for info without much luck. Any help and links would be greatly needed :(

Gamasutra (http://www.gamasutra.com/) is a good place to start. This site has lots of "money" amounts but for big mostly for name devs.... It\'s a pretty sweet place to start looking for this kind of thing.
