Though sonyweb (http://www.sonyweb.com/release/index.html) has a 2001 "TBA" release date for alone in the dark, I am looking at an add right now for the game.

yea i want to get this game, i was gonna buy it on the ps1, but im not gonna as its coming out on the ps2. anyone know the release date for the uk????
