I\'m thinking about getting tatooed. On both upper arms. I\'m quite a scrawny bastard, so they don\'t have alot of room

By the time i\'m 70 We will be well into the 2000s so I\'ll either be dead (need to quit smoking) or They\'ll have some super removal method.

tats are cool, but i wouldnt cover too much skin, only a little. Just one shoulder (or there abouts is cool) not both arms IMO. That tat would be awesome, and a great tribute...as long as you never grow out of his music

but really, an S on your ***** would make girls laugh at you. Don\'t get anything, think of it this way. For some odd reason, you decide that Christianity is the right way to go, then you have the devil glorified with 3 6\'s on it.
plus, you will have a mark on you for the rest of your life. I know many people in my church (converts) that regret all of their tatooes they have, trust me.

1) Tatoos fade over many years, which means yearly renewal pain if you want them bright and clear. This is most true if you have them where you loose a lot of skin: hands, forearms, or ankles, for instance.
2) Tatoos, even fading, will last many years. Make sure you pick something that isn\'t going to cause you a problem 5-10 years from now. If you put something like "Guns \'n Roses" on there 10 years ago, fine, but now, that would be stupid. Make sure you tatoo will age well.
3) Be carefull puting satanic or very "dark" images on a tatoo. Your views about such things will probably change if (and I do mean if - some girls don\'t like that stuff) you end up married with kids in the next while.... (Not that I know how old you are now, I\'m assuming 16-22).
4) If you do get a tatoo, make sure you research where you will get it. First, you will want to find a place with a talented and experienced artist. TRUST ME. Second, you will probably want to save money, but it is often better to go to a higher class establishment, and pay a little more, and get info on the tatoo when you are having it done, as well as a plain better job of it.

I have a whole bunch of peircings and I have to listen to peoples opinions on them all the time, but I am happy... If there not, then it sucks to be them...

if you have to ask other people if you should get a tatoo, then you shouldnt have one. it should been your own choice, but if i was you i wouldnt get a devil tatoo, youll change as you get older and may regret having a devil on your arm

Consider the placement carefully. I\'ve got a half-sleeve (wrist to elbow) on one arm, and work on the inner part of my other forearm. And, having to wear longsleeves during the summer is incredibly uncomfortable to say the least. Didn\'t think much of it when I was getting the work done, but years down the road when I was: Meeting the "someday-soon-to-be" in-laws; shaking hands after a job interview, you know how the cuff quickly moves up your arm; and when I started working full time did it become a little inconvenient/uncomfortable. In summary, think before you ink.
I would like to reiterate the importance of picking a competent artist; do your homework, there are many scratch artists out there!

Go for it. I personally believe it is your body and you have the right to do whatever you want. But then again, I am probably goin\' to take up an appertinceship in body piercing. I have some piercings and a tattoo.
But when you do it, make sure this is something you want. Don\'t do it because it is "cool" or because it seems like a bright idea at the moment. Infact, I advise settling on a final design--then waiting at LEAST six months before you get it done. That way you have time to think it over and make sure this is something you want. Keep in mind, while tattoo\'s can be removed, laser surgery is 10x more painful then actual tattoo and sometimes cannot remove all the ink pigments from the skin--so for the most part (90% or more) this is something that will be with you for the rest of your life.
Also make sure the studio is a respected artist and has an autoclave / sterile bags / and ask to see previous work.
Zavijava, also brings up a good point. Tattoos can and will effect how someone views you. I have to meet the parents of my girlfriend and they personally do not believe in tattooing, so this is just one more hurdle for me to overcome with them. The same applies with a job, you can easily conceal alot of tattoos, but if you are getting work done in a place viewable--it could effect you long term. There is alot of things you need to think about before you get inked.
Finally and I can\'t stress this enough, don\'t get a stupid design. Don\'t get a Superman logo, or something like 666--where your views may change later in life. Design your own art, or have a respectable artist do it for you. But make sure it is something personal and something you believe in / won\'t grow tired of.
In the end; it is your choice. But be sure you consider everything when you get tatoo\'ed. Don\'t count on some "super removal method". Because, more and likely, they just ain\'t happenin\'.

But thats the whole point good humor. C\'mon imagine walking towards the bed whipping it out with a superman "S" and have the Superman theme song playing. I think it would be good laughs.
Of course I\'m the kinda guy who likes to create good laughs even at my own expense
My wife got a tattoo on her forearm about 6 months ago. She didn\'t even tell me she was going to do it. Its real cool its a crescent moon with some multi-colored clouds passing by.
or maybe you could have www.psx2central.com tattooed on your forehead. We\'d appreciate the advertising
