I want to like the game, and it sounds cool (typical Sega) but was wondering if it would be worth buying when it comes out?
The reason being (and the reason I\'m tired of) is SLOWDOWN. I read on a website that the game suffers from the occasional slowdown etc. All these bloody ports coming to the PS2 will be the same. Darn!!
Thanks
Tom

Im still getting it. I guesse I can give the DC Copy I borrowed back.

I\'m a bit hesitant. Mostly because I\'ve already played Crazy Taxi to death on the Dreamcast. I gave the system and the game to my sisters when I purchased my PS2.
What more interests me is that Sega is coming out with the sequel to Crazy Taxi in the arcades soon. My bet is they\'ll port that over to PS2 shortly thereafter. That\'s the one I\'ll probably get. Will the sequel be just "more of the same?" Probably, but then again, the 1st was fun enough in a totally "disengage your brain" sorta way...so I imagine I\'ll get that when it comes out.

Naw I reneted it on the DC and after day 3 I was bored with it

Crazy Taxi is a little TOO crazy for me, plus i just dont like it

ct is crap, after about 5 mins i was bored, you just do the smae thing over and over again. can you say pop up, this game suffers from bad pop up on the dc, but they havent improved it on the ps2. this game sucks, i think its one of the most overrated games ever, in the arcades its fun, but its soooooooo repetive its not even funny

I\'m with the other guys.... i was really high on the game after seeing reviews and movies for the DC version, then i finally got to play it. I played it for a few days.... and to be honest I got bored with it. It\'s a damn good idea. It\'s executed pretty damn well, but in reality it DOES get a bit repetitive. Mind you that\'s the way i see it, but I\'d say definitely, especially if you\'ve played it a bit on DC, try before you buy.

I borrowed a dreamcast and I must admit after a few days I had completed all of Crazy Box, and had top scores which were unbeatable without playing for hours. Basically I had done everything in the game in a few days. It was fun whilst it lasted.
