Title: Macross/Robotech game??? ! duh????

Does anybody know if there are any games based on the Robotech/Macross sagas planed? I know that Mattel is planing Robotech, but how far along are they? Any news out there?

that would be awesome!  I am a HUGE robotech fan! the only robotech game I played was on my pc and that was about 10-15 yrs ago

Hey I\'m a big fan of Robotech as well.
Recently I joined Robotech.com of Harmony Gold itself.
Although I think about it less than used to because where I live they don\'t have it on tv. Out of sight is out of mind , a bit I guess.

As for Robotech games. Previous efforts have been fairly
poor.
There should be a good one in dev for the Dreamcast, check out some dc site !
But what bothers me is that Robotech games always end up being shoot em up games or shooting action games.
Robotech was always about story, drama and intrigue as well. So Imo it should deserve to be a bigtime ( maybe a bit action oriented ) RPG like the Final Fantasy series.
