Title: Why PSX2 Central?

Why is the address for this site PSX2Central.com when it\'s not PSX2, it\'s just PS2.
I guessing this site was created before everyone knew it was only PS2.

There could be a few reasons for it.

1.) Playstation is also known as PSX.

2.) There could have been a site whith the same name and therefor your name would have to be different.

3.) Either than those two you might be right, maybe the site was created before the PS2 was revealed to the world?

Yeah, I think it´s this way ´cause the site was created before PS2 was shown to the world

The developer name of the PlayStation was PSX and the developer name of PS2 was T-Rex. So why not T-Rex central? ;)

Before the PS2 was announced to the world everyone was scurrying to get domain names. Most everyone reffered to the PS2 ans PSX2 and those domain names were the prize

this site was one of the 1st PS2 sites on the web and grabbed the most popular available domain name at the time

so we will forever be PSX2central

hopefully Bjorn has PS3central locked up

the next playstation console, ps3 is a common refferall to the next playstation console. it not that it will be named that, its just that what people say when they want to say the next gen sony console.
