I chose street fighter because it\'s the mother of all fighting games, but you really should\'ve included soul blade, cause that\'s the one I think is the best ever

Mortal Kombat 4ever ..... before there was TEKKEN :D(the most realistic fighting game bu sadly the newest TEKKEN series got some mucked up endings :( )

Definitely SF, I just got SF3:TS and it is great. I haven\'t had this much fun with a fighting game in a long time, probably since SF2 on SNES.

yeah street fighter is the best of em all, but i think soul calibur was real good too!!!! :D

None of these in my opinion, my all time favorite is no other than good old Soul Blade! Nice & simple, still going strong. Calibur is a good second, though it\'s more complicated ( I\'m too lazy to learn 50 moves per character, combos & all that). I don\'t like Mortal Combat at all. It handles kinda weird.

i have always liked tekken tag. it is my fav. i thought they pushed the mortal combat series too far, though.
there were too many, and although the gameplay was good, ithere was somthing about them that i just didnt like.. cant put a thumb on it. :D

It\'s hard to vote for just one, but I voted for Tekken. I love all of the other games on that list though (and play them all on a regular basis :)). I love all fighting games because they have a replay value that\'s through the roof. No other video game genre can even come close.

NeoGeo lasted 10 years buddy. The longest lasting Video game system of all time. They kept it going. It was a system for people who didn\'t play alot of games, but wanted to own 1 or 2 GREAT games they could never get tired of. A month? buddy, you need to get your facts straight.

Thank you for straighting me out Sir! I am sorry if I have offended you in anyway, General! But let\'s see to me Neogeo was like a gameboy for people who didn\'t play a lot of videogames either. So if I set up another poll I will try and find some of those Neogeo titles for you or you could send them to me, but you sound like a :crying:-baby.

Quite simply, Street Fighter. The single greatest fighting game series yet.
Why is it there is a Virtua Fighter 3 option--but not "The Virtua Fighter series" option, like the rest?
