I don\'t find it funny that one game is better than an entire genre of games. I\'m not blaming you for anything because maybe you have not seen my request, but why not make a RPG forum. Covers many games... and place to talk stratagey & just plain talk RPG.

COME ON FELLOW PSX2CENTRAL FORUM MEMBERS, ALL FOR IT POST HERE, ALL AGAINST IT POST HERE!

I was against the GT3 forum simply because I was not inconveinenced by the GT3 post here.

Post by: Bobs_Hardware on May 04, 2001, 07:49:05 PM: personally, im not against it, as long as it keepschanging depending on which killer app is out. GT3 is the one out now and people will be demanding info etc. about it. When FFX comes out, change the forums to an FFX forum, and MGS2 etc. etc.

That is because GT3 is the newest and most interesting thing having to do w/ the PS2. Just like when MGS2 dominated the main forum and Xbox news dominated after gamestock. It will go away.

That\'d be cool to have it be like a feature forum where it switches every month or so. But most people really seem to stick with the main forum so it probably won\'t get much activity.

Let me start my own complaining then. Just stop whining and follow the rules of the admins. There were hundreds of GT3 posts in the main forum, and I for one don\'t mind them being collected one place. But that doesn\'t mean every member can request a forum - then we\'d have thousands of forums.

Oh, I have this great idea! Let\'s make a forum for each and every member now we\'re at it! Then you can\'t complain anymore. :rolleyes:

BTW, I\'m moving this to off topic where it belongs (if a PM couldn\'t cut it).

Post by: FatalXception on May 05, 2001, 09:34:00 AM: I was under the assumption (didn\'t the first post in there outline this), that the GT3 forum would be a "nameless" forum for the game of the day. Whatever is the current newsworthy game, MGS2 or FFX for instance, when they come out, will get that forum for a time, so that the main forum doesn\'t get ovverun by posts. It makes sense.

Problem with making an RPG forum is that it would be permanent, and peep would want an action, simulation, FPS, etc... forum created as well. It would also take posts from the main forum that we WOULD want in there, and posts from the hints forum.

I total agree with bob. The GT3 forums is just temporary. I hope the next one will be Twisted Metal or Red Faction. Someone make a POLE for the next game ahead of time. Make your votes for the next game!! :D

Infact, the idea for one forum for a big game (temp forum) is great.

Yeah, I know it\'s kinda off the wall.. but I think it really does reflect badly on all of us.
