Cool, but Bossieman recently got those Creative Playworks 3500. Now those are bigtime !
Comes complete with DTS decoder and all the good
stuff for about 400 $ which is for that kinda a good bargain.

I\'ve already got a really good amp, and I\'m working towards getting some "on-par" with it speakers. I want the Tannoy Saturn series S10 speakers, S8 (shelf), S8 (center), and a woofer. Those are (in Canadian), 3500, 1800, 1500, and 1000 respectively though!! Argh!!! It\'s gonna take me forever!
-
Well the speakers i got have got an 8" woofer in them, they are proper studio monitors, and they are good, very good, just played Mission Impossible 2 through them, and i couldnt believe it,the bass was just how i wanted it,i am soooo happy, all i need now is GT3,then i will be the happiest man on the planet: )

I\'ll choose \'real\' hifi over computer hifi (like those Creative surround sets) any day. It just can\'t compare - the computer speakers are toys compared to \'real\' speakers, especially when talking about audio quality - but of course it\'ll also be more expensive. :(
You get what you pay for though.

Headphones for me.Big Ones :D
Ohh and congrats on the speakers.
-
Head phones ? Duh..
Some games have big noise difference. One moment
you have to turn up vol, the other you almost get a
heart seizure because it switches loud.
So speakers for me.

i recently bought a 10" sub woofer for my girl friends car, but i wotn get the amp for another week, so guess whati did, i put it in ths box "speaker box bought also" the woofer is sony Xplod i mind you :) and i hooked it up to my stereo... yes thats right to my aiwa stereo, let me tell ya does my house shake when i turn that bastard on :p it make explosions and gun fire sound so much in depth
-
Well my setup consists of the left and right audio cables that come with my RGB scart cable going into a pair of nackered computer speakers. Basically when i turn the volume on them the right speaker crackles and is normally muted for some reason, its only when you get the volume just right that the right speaker lets sound out of it. :)

I had Hi-Fi speakers before I bought the DTT-3500 system.
I had the AE-120, costs about 1200$ here in Sweden. They where great with music. But they are "overkill", to much power. I also had the Sony STRDA-50 ES, I was a really freak when it comes to audio. But the system was not good when you wanted to see a movie at low-volume. The sytem was optimized for high volume entertainment. I have 3 kids so I never had the chance to use the sytem for what it was made for.
With the DTT 3500 system I can play and see DVDs with no loss in low-level-volume.

Headphones are the best choice for me.
