"In addition, CVG has learnt that the PlayStation 2 version of Virtua Fighter 4 will not be seen at the show, instead only getting an airing on Sega’s NAOMI 2 arcade board. Our sources have indicated that the console version is too early to be shown. You’ll just have to content yourself with the masterfully detailed arcade outing."

Damn :(
ok then it is too early to see the PS2 version lest hope its going to be as good as the arcade version.

The game is being developed with a port to the PS2 in mind, so you can expect it to look the same as the arcade if not a tad better.
But, I don\'t think anyone really expected to see it at E3. The arcade version hasn\'t got enough hype for Sega to go and just announce the PS2 version. Espically when Sega is trying to reinvent / revive the arcades. Showing PS2 screens that look just as good / better then the arcade would defeat their purpose.

Actually, it\'s being developed along side of the arcade version. It\'s not being ported at all. It\'s being built from the ground up.

I expected it to be shown, but that is a very good point. I am still very disappointed about this though. :(

When I first read the topic I assumed the news was a lot worse, like the game wasn\'t being developed no more.
Im not too disapointed. Least Sega are admitting that this game isn\'t ready to be shown, hopefully this kind of perfectionism will show through for the final game.

As always, sega will pull through, it\'s not a shame at all that they don\'t show the game but whats the point if the game is only at a stage when its using vectors and meshes for graphics at the mo, you can\'t expect them to slap a bit of red here and a bit of green here to make the game look good for E3. If they rushed it then bad hype could be planted on the game which wouldn\'t be good!

Hmm.. Damn..
I really wanted to see how VF4 looks on PS2..
Oh well.. I hope we\'ll see Tekken4 instead :D

That sucks...oh well. It\'s not all that bad. I\'m sure that there\'ll be some awesome surprises at the show. I hope Naughty Dog reveals some new info on their "SECRET PROJECT."
