Guys and girl(s)(SmallLady) does anybody know where I can get katanas, daggers, or any other type of "Bladez" on t.v., websites, people?

P.S. SmallLady I replied to you in "What else do You do besides Gaming?"

EBay (http://www.ebay.com) has a VERY good selection of swords, daggers, etc.  I know from ordering them though, that you need to have at least some knowledge of blades before you buy, or you will get screwed (one of my first purchases was uninformed, and I got a bit ripped off, but since then, I\'ve been carefull).  You can find really good deals if your patient, and wait to bid in the last few hours.

There\'s a shop down in Tennessee called "Smokey Mountain Knife Works". They have the absolute best swords and knives for the best prices from what I\'ve seen. You can visit their website at http://eknifeworks.com/webapp/eCommerce/index.html , but if you also want to order their catalog (it\'s definately worth it since it\'s got a little more selection), you can reach them at:

Smoky Mountain Knife Works
PO Box 4430
Sevierville, TN
1-800-251-9306

It\'s not just swords either, it\'s all types of hand-to-hand weapons. Everything from Nanchauku to Blowguns to Morning Stars/Maces.

Well, I didn\'t notice your reply, but I\'m guessing you don\'t have any japanese swords since you\'re asking that question :)

I would most rather buy my katana from Japan, but the costs might get pretty high.. On the other hand there\'s no other places I know of where I could buy japanese swords. Oh well.... Guess I\'ll just have to wait.

I am in love with japanese swords.

The reason I am asking this question is so that I don\'t get stumped like the worn blade the guy tried to sell me. Try and look harder in that forum.

go to a tans shop.
There a martial arts supplier.
I\'ve gotten 2 swords and nummys from them..
but u got to be willin to pay 10.000 dollars for a GOOD strong SHARP sword. Although I didn\'t pay that much. :)
1 sword is a training sword.. there blunt and flexable. The other is a real sword.  I don\'t use it.. It sits on my wall.

I\'ve been considering buying from this company for quite a long time:

http://www.museumreplicas.com/home.htm

I used to receive their catalogs before Internet commerce really existed, so they\'ve been in business for a while.  Now that I can afford it, I still haven\'t gotten around to purchasing anything.  I like the flanged maces and the Roman stuff.  Their collection of Roman weaponry has always been the best.

Yeah, when I tried it I just got a blank page.  Maybe they\'re fixing it now.

You should try Museum Replicas.  They have a number of Katanas, ranging from $189 to $1,234.00.
