Title: Simspons Racing...For PS2!

Saw a few pics in the E3 section of the new GamePro magazine.  Sorry I don\'t have a scanner and I can\'t find anything online to post.  No mention either of who is developing it.

But what I can see is looks sweet.  (Yes, way better than Simpson\'s Wrestling.)

The picture showed Homer driving a convertible past Moe\'s bar.

If this game has the same feel as Mario Cart, we may just have a new all time best racer.

While I hate it when companies copy other games, I wouldn\'t mind having a "party" racing game for the PS2 with up to date graphics.

oh no here we go EVERYONE will be trying 2 copy mario kart no one can match it for a kart game - mabye diddy kong but hmmmmm nearly

That\'s cool!!  Simspons Racing?  I would like to see some screenshots of this fun game. I\'ll look around and try to find some.   :D

Nooonoooonooooo!

This gonna be another cart game? Like we haven\'t got enough of those :

Mario carts (the original is still the best)
Diddy Kong Racing
Crash Racing
Muppet Racing
Star Wars Bombad Racing
Woody Woodpecker racing (or whatever the heck it was)

...and about a dozen and a half more.

No matter what franchise they tie up with a cart game, I hate \'em, hate \'em! :evil:

personaly I think CTR is way better than mario cart,
believe me, I played both, and although I\'m not sure about single player, the multiplayer part (most important one) is way better

probably just the same as the south park game with simpsons characters

but it COULD be good...Mario Kart, Diddy Kong, Srash, they were all good...but seem to be the only ones...cause they are all rip offs of Mario Kart

Simpsons racing is a Crazy Taxi clone.

There\'s a write up in OPM. You have to deleiver various Simpsons characters to different locales. There are also a few screenshots, and it is SMOOTH:)

IMO, Mario Kart 64 was a pile of crap and Mario Kart on SNES smoked it.

I totally agree, Mario Kart 64\'s AI sucked and really brought down the game.  I didn\'t matter if you were half a lap ahead, the computer could still catch up.  When playing two player whoever was in second would get a good weapon and the first place person would get crap.  

CTR is actually still my favorite kart racing game.  I really wish Bleem! would come out with a Bleempak for DC for it.
