An excerpt from the article:

"Madden NFL 2002, SSX: Special Edition, FIFA Major League Soccer, James Bond and Harry Potter have already spent considerable time in development. Madden NFL 2002 and SSX: Special Edition, in particular, are said to be the furthest along and being readied for launch with Nintendo\'s new game platform later this year."

I guess sports titles won\'t be as big of an issue for the GC as it was with the N64.

well this is funny. One week EA sucks really bad and nobody should like them. The next week EA is great and on GC

Animal you need to get off your MS  paranoia trip. You obviously don\'t have a clue to what went down on  the MAtrix deal

besides that EA is the 3rd largest manufacturer of Videogames. I doubt anyone will be able to buy them. They just develope for everyone

Hey, it\'s never a bad thing when companies develop for everyone.  It means that everyone can be happy :).

I figured EA would jump on this. They obviously tried to stay away from Nintendo when it was the cartridge format. I personally don\'t care for EA, but it is good news for sports fans and Nintendo fans alike.

As for the Matrix comment. WHAT? MS did not steal that lisence. I gurantee no one would of complained if Sony had signed the Matrix lisence. Instead, that would of been a great thing. But, apparently, since it was MS, then they are trying to get a "monoply". It couldn\'t be they are just doing buisness as it should be done. You sign a popular franchise to your system--you make money. No big conspiracy, no big monoply. If Sony wanted the lisence to the game , they should of tried to get it. They didn\'t. So, MS did the SMART thing to do. They went and got it, because it is a gurantee\'d hit.

Despite what you and others may think, MS is not the "boogieman" and there is no monoply going on with the Xbox.
