Title: I want a sequel to Warhawk.

Now!

That game kicked so much ass back then, as well as today. Just add analog control, tweaked graphics and you\'ve got a perfect game for the PS2!!!

Gameplay was up to snuff even for today\'s standard.

Which one was warhawk? I keep thinking of that old Sega game WarSong. So I can\'t really picture Warhawk.

I\'ve been screaming about this on this board since I became a member!

E(lectronic)G(aming)M(onthly) reported that a sequel to WH is on the way for PS2.  They reported this in their RUMOR MILL section back in April, and so far nothing has been seen or heard (at least not by me!) since then.  No release dates, no screens, hell, it doesn\'t even show up as a POTENTIAL release, so who knows.

All I DO know is that EGM, who is pretty reliable in their sources, has intimated that WH will be coming to PS2.

Keep hope alive.

Caspian-- It was the arcadey-flight-shooter type of game released waaaay back when the PSX was first launced.  It featured, as was the style at the time, FMV to help the story along.  The story being that of the madman Kreel and the two plucky pilots sent to stop his onslaught of drone attack planes.  It also featured the bubbly and perky "Commander", who I actually saw in a magazine being referred to as "rat-faced".

A long, long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, Warhawk 2 was mentioned as a possible release.  After the demise of SingleTrac, WH2 was never seen or heard from again.

I am ever hopeful

Ohhh how memories do fade. I remmember that game. Dang I must be getting old. A sequal is needed, the only question would be why did htey wait so long.

I just got Rogue Leader for Gamecube. Nice graphics....but the controls are dumb. It doesn\'t have any type of inertia, your craft flies like its on rails....

....and then I thought about how much better Warhawk is than this Next Generation game. Such a shame. Warhawk had all the right physics and intense gameplay that Rogue Leader seems to lack.

And I simply LOVE Ace Combat 4!

But where the hell is WARHAWK 2?

dont think so, warhawk is a helicopter game, dropship is not.




ive never heard dropship is the sequel ....anyone else??

DROPSHIP is a new game

plus its set about 20 to 30 years in the future

i thought Thunderhawk: Operation Phoenix was the sequel.
