Title: Anyone still playing SSX?
Post by: Jeff on May 13, 2001, 08:11:56 PM
Or how long did it last? I\'m trading my Timesplitters for it via http://www.gametz.com, I played TS to death and back.

But is SSX really that good? I hear it\'s a love/hate game. What about replayability, difficulty, etc etc?

I sold my copy of SSX pretty quickly.

Reason, it wasn\'t for me, the game is OK but I couldn\'t put up with the slowdown, its a bit over hyped in my opinion. Don\'t get me wrong its a good game but every magazine says its great.

Memememe! I\'m still playing it, though there\'s nothing more to unlock/find in the game for me. It\'s still a blast. Yes, the framerate\'s quite choppy at times and it might not be the prettiest game available, but it\'s just too much fun to put down. It kinda brings a fresh breeze into a dull day.

Of course how you like the game depends wholly on personal preferences so... if you don\'t like it trade it for something else.

Played it 6 times through, and I typically prefer RPG, action/adventure, and the occaisional racing game. IMO, it is well worth the cash; you shouldn\'t be disappointed.

It\'s a great game, but I think you should do what I\'m doing and wait for the updated version of it. It\'s coming on a dvd and will have more tracks. Well ,so I heard

When I bring my PS2 and games to my friends ,SSX is still the most wanted game.
We  spend hours getting goldmedals with all the characters.

Not me.
I haven\'t played it since the day I bought it, which was launch day.
Go figure.
The only launch games I play that I bought *on* launch, are Tekken Tag and RRV.

geeze

RRV????? I\'ve never been a fan of the Ridge Racer Series but that one is one of the worst IMO.

SSX is great. Still the best game out. I havent noticed any slowdown, but then I\'m not that worried about things like that. If it plays well thats good enough for me.
I enjoyed Vib Ribbon and that has the worst graphics I have seen
