Post by: Bossieman on May 15, 2001, 08:54:44 AM: My bets are that Nintendo wins the show, Playstation 2 impress almost everyone but the x-box doesn´t impress because the developers have not yet made the games using the final hardware.

It\'s a toss up between PS2 vs NGC. The reason I say PS2 is volume. Speaking from a graphics whore point, PS2 will have next gen titles that can go toe to toe with Cube and Xbox (FFX, MGS2, Y, Herdy, etc.), so really it comes down to overwhelming quantity. Fair? maybe not, but true.

.....That said, it will be a toss up for second. Both X and Cube may have similar quantities. Unless one or the other (probably Cube) has a graphical advantage, it could go either way for 2nd.

p.s i know i made a thread saying that i thought the graphics all looked the same,on each console,but the new picture i have seen lately really have impressed me on the cube.

but i think it will probaly be GameCube - because they have so much to suprise the public with since they haven\'t released much

Instead of guessing who of these big console giants will "win", I\'m more eager to see which developers steal the show with their awesome games, regardless of the console they\'re on. Nintendo might do it. Sega might do it. Sony... er... might, I guess. Konami? Capcom? Er, LucasArts? IREM (c\'mon, give us a new R-Type! Now!)?

Yes, as clichéd as it might\'ve already gotten; it\'s us that will eventually win.

But my money\'s on the Redwings.

Post by: RichG on May 15, 2001, 01:21:58 PM: Nintendo, but that is an easy one to say. :) I mean its not clever to predict that, considering this is a company who is releasing a new console, has been relativily quiet about it and its the console which has been considered the underdog between Sony and Microsoft. All these factors mean its bound to generate interest.

I hven\'t really dont any redearch or whatever on E3 but if Zelda is there I think that will be the best game for nintendo
