the second you start up your system, you see the cubes floating around with the blue mist right? well from what I read on the IGN boards, (you have to have a PS2/PS1 memory card in at all times) for each DIFFERENT game you play, it addes a cube to the start up screen. I thought this seemed interesting enough, im going to check later tonight to see if its legit. go over to the IGN boards under Playstation 2 to see what I mean.

Yeah I have quite a few now, and only until recently witnessed another PS2 boot-up screen, which had very few. I am of the understanding that the boot-up screen will be updated periodically when loading some new games; already tiring of the present one, but it\'s not b1tch-worthy yet. And, apparently, the intro is never the same each time; you see slight variations each time you power the PS2. Not new info in the least....I digress.

Actually, a new cube appears every time you start up your PS2. It resets back to one cube after a certain amount.
-
That\'s something to keep in mind... I\'ll have to start turning my PS on second, after my amp and tv, so I can watch the intro again :).
Thanks for the heads-up...

This is something I didn\'t know, nor never payed attention to. But now the small detail feels quite cool :)
I\'ll be paying more attention to you, baby, the next time when I start you up...

I notice that when I boot up my PS2, my cubes are white cubes not transparent ones. I have a PS2 card in slot 1 and a pocketstation in slot 2. I though that something was wrong with my PS2. :D

Yes, it´s true... for every Game there is a new cube ! That´s kewl !! :D
In the first time I thought that it just changes everytime you turn it on, but that´s not so...
-
I have about 35 cubes :)
-
I never noticed that! wOWOWOWOW!
I am going to repeatedly turn my PS2 on and off!
-
HighWind, dont do that, it might blow up :)
-
thats cool, ill pay more attention when i turn it on now
-
What??? I hadn´t heard about it anytime! Great! I like it.

yeah, I had a ton, then I erased my system data when my cd lens stoped reading hoping it was just some glitch that would fix it\'s self if I reseted everything. Next time I booted up there were like 2 cubes. Oh and my cd lens still didn\'t work!
