Both an ethernet adapter and a 56K Modem!by - Brian Shroom Gray(6:04AM)-
Sony\'s big E3 news continues to pour in and we must admit this one caught us off guard. It seems that Sony Computer Entertainment America will be releasing a separate Network Adapter that brings PS2 owners access to BOTH 56K and Broadband access in one simple device.
Best of all the Network Adapter will release in November 2001 for a suggested retail price of $39.95.
This contradicts Sony\'s previous announcements of a dual HDD/BBA that would ship as one unit. This Network Adapter, however, does include a interface port for Harddrives. Hmm does this mean any Harddrive can be used? Only time will tell but we will be here as soon as that information is unveiled!

I wonder if this is the only interface available... I\'m personally hoping for an only BB version too, to keep the cost much lower. I wouldn\'t mind being able to use any HDD, I\'ve got a couple of 7gigs lying around here somewhere ;)....
