Well i really didnt see this news comming,things really are looking good this generation.
(6:35AM)- Hidden within the big AOL/SCEA announcement was information about what peripherals will be used in order to enjoy America Online on your PlayStation 2.
"Also under the new agreement, SCEI and AOL will explore other interactive entertainment opportunities, including broadband technologies and the development of a Netscape browser to optimize the Internet experience on PlayStation 2. Additional hardware including a hard disk drive, LCD display (NTSC/PAL and XGA compatible), keyboard and mouse will be available to allow consumers to enjoy these more advanced interactive features."
No further information has been released but with a few dollars the PS2 is really turning into an almost full blown computer! Linux and AOL, what else is next?

That\'s all good, as long as they package it all seperatly. I already spent a pile of money on a good computer, I don\'t need to spend a pile more and have another one in the TV room. I would think, in fact, that most people who would own a PS2 are the kind of people that would already have a computer....
