AWESOME!!! those water effects are incredible, the best i have ever seen

Post by: MeTaL=DeaTh on May 16, 2001, 07:24:49 PM: the water looks good,but the effects the boat on it doesn\'t look too great to me. by the way,what is so amazing about the rest of it? i\'m not saying it looks bad but it looks average to me except that it boasts lots of polygon use,yet that doesn\'t make a game pic look amazing or incredible,etc..the texturing is particularly bland to me at this point (i know i know,the same song and dance,it\'s in early development,etc.,etc..)

Yet the graphics and the overall look of this game really catches my eyes, looks amazing to me, too bad I will never pick this game up. WHo knows i might give it a good rent, but that all depends how the game progress in development.

Also i pointed out that the water in this game is the most realistic i have ever seen

Post by: wiseboy on May 16, 2001, 07:50:18 PM: I think these shots look great! Based on comments that have been posted in this forum regarding screenshots, it seems as though we\'ve all become spoiled(myself included :D ). We sure have come a long way in terms of graphics.

AWESOME, i didn\'t even notice that. Hey if this game plays well accompanied by beautiful grpahics(which no-doubt this game will have) I might just even buy it

But eventually it comes to the terms of gameplay wich will keep the game going and keep you playing. I\'m not interested in the game, but the graphics DO catch my eye. Well, I don\'t know what the game is about, but it seems to be a boat-game.

Actually, looking back on it I think it\'s just the boat\'s wake... That doesn\'t seem as cool then, IMO.

As for no action, I can imagine that as well. It\'s hard to tell gameplay from screenshots, though.
