I\'d just like to say that Bill Gates gets a lot of crap, but today he saved my life.

I had just finished my five page final exam paper for one of my courses this semester.  I was ready to print the thing, and damn was it good, when I thought, "What the hell, let\'s run spell check."  *Click* then, WHAMMO illegal operation, Word will shut down!

I nearly killed myself.  I started swearing and pacing, I wanted to break ****!!  Finally calmed down enough to write down what I could see of my intro, and what I remembered of my conclusion.  Still, pissed I reset the damn computer.

To cool off I played a quick round of Dr. Mario.  I came back, shut down each program I could, then opened Word.

LO AND BEHOLD - THERE WAS MY REPORT!  The whole damn thing, right there.  The file, which hadn\'t been saved once, sported the tag line (Recovered).  BRILLIANT.  God bless Bill Gates.
