This is proably the best looking fighter ever.... I think my xbox purchase is a lock now. What do you guys think of the screenshots?

those shots are just plain sick.
I saw a few earier but overall if Xbox can get its **** together and pumpout games with these graphics it won\'t have any problems being successful
Now show me an RPG or an Action adventure game with a path like this I have to follow and I\'d be even more impressed

Don\'t forget Bob, those DOA3 pics are taken from the game running on phase2 devkits and NOT final hardware, yet they\'re still incredibly impressive! :)

Well, there are a few flaws here... Who can say that TTT only uses 5%? I think that\'s a pretty hard estimate... But this leads me to another question: Who says that the game(s) maximizes all the power of the dev kits? It\'s the dev kits that represent 50% of the final power, but that\'s not to say that 100% of that (of the 50% ;)) are really used. :)

those DOA 3 shots look pretty damn wicked.... if I do say so myself, Xbox is certainly coming up with the goods at an early stage...

actually nah, I do see where your coming from, and I actually do share your viewpoint. Xbox at "3 times the power of ps2" should be ripping visuals far more impressive than ps2 even on dev kits, Xbox is nowhere near at 100% right now, but neither is PS2... so it\'s almost an even tradeoff... but that doesn\'t take away from the fact that these shots are still impressive

Dead or Alive 3- those are VERY impressive screens, I\'m sold.
Jet Grind Radio Future - first was a blast, second looks even better.
Malice - love platformers.
Ecco 2 - love it.
Sega GT 2 - liked the first enough to get the sequel.
Panzer Dragoon - this will be the **** and go down as the most gorgeous and best shooter...EVER!!!
I\'m sold on Xbox, all the games have looked damn impressive. Not some of this, well, just give another year and it will look good (you know what I\'m talking about;)

Wow! Those shots are great! Too bad DOA games have NO redeeming gameplay qualities. I will pass on this one.
But I just d/led the new JSR Fture video (direct feed) it rocks my world! Combine this with Panzer, Sega Sports, Halo, Black and White, etc. and you have the making for the best console out there.
nice graphics, just not my style.

Yea i have to agree with Bobo on this one - while i will get an Xbox - but it just isn\'t up to the standard of graphics i thought it would have - while it looks awful pretty it just doesn\'t seem like it couldn\'t be done on any other system

I agree w/ Altered. DOA looks stunning but it is not my kind of game. Gameplay leaves A LOT to be desired.
BTW, JSR Future is effing incredible. I just went to Funcoland and put money down on a GameCube and an Xbox. I can\'t wait til November 9 - 110

I agree with this. If Tecmo would get rid of the ANIME eyes and costumes, and put in some realistic player models, I\'d be more interested in playing DOA. Why would you go to such great lengths to make the environments hyper realistic and then stick an anime character in the middle with those big eyes? I think most of Tekken\'s characters are much more realistic.
This is but one of my complaints with DOA. The real problem is the gameplay as AlteredBeast said.
