Not too bad of a game if you ask me, graphics are nice too.

Fantasy Zone II was the BEST looking game on the Sega MasterSystem, and certainly better looking than any NES game. It was super fast too, so fast actually that if you had anything higher than a Rocket Engine you\'d move faster than the screen could keep up and you\'d get lost somewhere way offscreen.

BWA HA HA, RETRO OVERLOAD!!! CHUCK ROCK 2!?!?! I LOOOOVED THAT GAME
sorry, i couldnt contribute to the thread, but i cant remember the graphics of those generations much, just that i loved the games
but SF2 looks the best ot of those IMO
-
hmmm... I\'d like to add super mario bros. 3 to the list. Not only was it possibly THE defining platform experience of the whole generation, and IMO one of the best platform experiences (2D) ever, it had some nice visuals :)
-
Yeah Fantasy Zone 2 was a great looking and playing game!
Chuck Rock 2 (not for an 8-bit!!)
Maro 3 did look great, but when you compare it to Sonic Blast or Sonic Chaos on SMS, it gets spanked.

what the hell are you saying, I had this game for my master system 2 (rip), it sure as hell is also made for 8 bit system
-
Maybe so politepet, but the screenshots you posted were of the 16 bit version. We\'re talking about 8bit games, so you should only post screenshots of the Mastersystem version.
-
I couldn\'t find any, so I decided to post these, cause they\'re small anyways, so yo get the idea
-
Well here are a few games i thought looked good for then
Contra Ruled!!!!!

ahh the memories of the old
-
Yup, Konami and Capcom made the best looking games on the NES. Contra, Castlevania, Mega Man, etc.
On the SMS, it goes to Sega. Duuuh, who else was there???
I didn\'t know SF 2 was out on the SMS. Must be a Europe thing. Its looks fantastic. It rivals that of the 16-bit versions.
Anyone remember the game Xexyz (spelling?)? It was a great game w/ great graphics.
Life Force, Super Mario 2 & 3, Castlevania 3, Phantasy Star, Golden Axe, Ghouls & Ghosts, TMNT 3, the list goes on....
-
Ashford, it was a Brazil only release, and it plays GREAT with the limited edition 6-button controller that you could also buy for another arm and a leg!!
Muhuhuhahahaha! I love being an afficiando!

The Megaman\'s looked great, but cant compare to the sonics or Wonderboys cause they only put 3 colors into a guy and not many moving backrounds or parallax.
Contra of course brings back great warfare memories!
