I just checked out the video. SWWEEEETTTT!!! Photo realistic!!! I will be buying this **** on day 1!!!

I have my doubts about Wave Race... from what I\'ve heard, all the courses shown were from the old N64 version, and the game played exactly the same as its previous incarnation. The graphics don\'t look all that flash either...

I take it from that quote that you never played the original. WaveRace is regarded by many to be one of the best handling racers ever and it also had the best water physics of any game. The water itself could still hold its own against the best of whats out now.

The problem is that I won\'t shell out $50 for updated graphics and sound. What\'d be the point of getting a sequeal if no new gameplay mechanics have been integrated??

I take it you aren\'t getting GT3 then? Or Silent Hill 2?

And yes, it was the ign video. The water looked photorealistic, much better than Splashdown.

Then you must HATE sports games. They don\'t update the graphics or the sound and they rarely add new gameplay mechanics.
