Today, widely known publisher, Activision and PS2 developer, Traveller\'s Tales announced that they are working on a yet-to-be-named platform title for PlayStation 2. Fueled by an advanced proprietary 3D engine, Activision claims that the new game will take full advantage of the system\'s graphic and technical capabilities to redefine platform action-adventure gaming.
The game takes players on a heroic quest of honor, courage and exploration. Beginning their adventure as a simple slave who grows to become a powerful hero, gamers must travel through a fantastic world as they uncover ancient powers and unravel a deep mystery that helps them free an enslaved race and save the galaxy. The game is slated to be released by Activision in late summer 2002....

First thing that comes to mind when I read that is the rush J&D clones has already started. The second thing, if it does something different and looks as good as it claims this could be yet another must buy. I\'ll reserve judgement though untill I actually see/play it.
