I was just looking at the features of red faction on the babbages website and it lists one of the features as a level editor. Does anyone know how this will work? Is it just for bots and weapon placement or will it be similar to the timesplitters level editor ?

That is an editor similiear to world craft [ the one shipped with halflife] I am guessing. This will NOT be on the ps2 version just the PC.

oh well, maybe redfaction 2 will have one then, but I think I can be certain that this game is going to provide enough entertainment and replayability for me without a level editor anyhow.
what is the frame rate btw ? Is it locked in at 30 ?

They delayed it 2 months and the FPS is locked at 60. I think the game is gonna be the next BIG thing [ in the PC FPS world] I am picking it up first thing tomorrow. And if I like it I will get the PC version.

Does anyone know how long this thing will be around?
or have a guess at how long?
-
If it\'s under 24 hours I will tell you tomorrow ;)

I read somewhere (sorry no link) that each level was about an hour, so if i do the math right, 20 hours +, but thats pushing it. The longest FPS that I played was Half Life, that was probably around 10-15 hours of play, i cant imagine Red Faction being that long.
