It seems as though my personal video game hero, Rikimaru, will be making a comeback. :)

Post by: Hawke on May 23, 2001, 12:17:36 AM: I\'ve only played the second Tenchu game at SmallLady\'s place, and it\'s really cool, except for the hideous controls. I sure hope they can get the characters to move more smoothly and fix some annoying little details. The idea is perfect in this series. Ninjas are just too cool :D

I liked the girl more.You know the one with the two knives.What was her name? The animation where she cut of the enemies heads was pretty cool.

I\'ve played Tenchu 1 briefly, and own Tenchu 2. And I love it! It\'s not even close to perfect, but there\'s just something so great about this game, the atmosphere, the ninjas... The stealth killing! I had been praying for a new, improved Tenchu. So Rikimaru\'s back eh. Well, that\'s neat, but I like Ayame more. There\'s just something about Riki\'s hair. How\'d he bleach it? I hope they have more characters, but who could replace lovely Tatsumaru :( And I hope they don\'t dub it! Japanese voices with english text would fit the mood better.
Most of all I hope the controls will be much better! U know those ninjas are almost impossible to move. Especially during boss fights (ugh!!) Less boss fights, please. Ninjas aren\'t about fair fight.

This is a must-buy when it finally comes out!

ayame was her name or something very close to that and for anybody who didnt play the first it was almost the best game on the psone

So maybe we could see a character overhaul.

the game is 8% done when IGN saw it a E3 so they will get better, this is still very very early in the game

Post by: Gradman on May 25, 2001, 03:28:47 AM: phroar, anybody who did miss out on the first REALLY missed out on one of the best games on the system. The game is all about it\'s feel and it\'s atmosphere, i feel in the first it was really created by it\'s awesome blend of dark stages, and subtle but cool music.

I only briefly played the second, and wasn\'t impressed at the lack of music, but great game anyway. I just hope they can trap the feel of this game, and get it up to the standard that the first two were.

I really hope this doesn\'t turn into the bushido blade 3 story, where the first was awesome, the second... i can\'t remember

but the third on PS2 wasn\'t up to standard

Let\'s hope they can pull it off
